    Ulrich in
the Studio

During any given year, Ulrich will work on various projects, from a 25-foot tall corporate commission for a grand plaza to a fountain for a private home to various tabletop sculptures for his galleries and shows.

Each of Ulrich's sculptures requires different fabrication techniques, and with some he will pull out many tools, crank up the forklift and supplement hiss own efforts with the overhead crane.

Ulrih's artistic process evolves from research and study, through experimentation and, after endless hours in the studio and often sleepless nights of mental manipulations, the artful forming of the finished artwork.

It is an orchestrated choreography of materials, tools, people, and time. with lots of pounding, clanging and whirring as accompaniment.
